Torsten Kudjer is going back again to the 80s - musically as well as topically. On Berlin '89 everything is about Berlin in 1989, shortly before the falling of the Berlin Wall. The songs on Berlin '89 describe Torsten Kudjer's impressions he got in 1989 during his first visit to Berlin. The different influences of Berlin at this time are also being reflected in the sound of the songs and transfer the auditor back to the late 80s.
